Alan’s Collision, NE Philadelphia, Launches New Website

It’s not often that an auto body repair business gets a new website, but Alan’s Collision Center, NE Philadelphia, has invested in its brand twice in the last two years. The collision center recently launched a second new website to remain consistent with its brand, to better communicate with customers, and to maintain business growth momentum.

“I studied dozens of websites in the collision repair industry to determine how I wanted to position Alan’s Collision Center to our customers,” said General Manager Jim Pfau of Alan’s Collision. “I directed my digital marketing agency, Soulati Media, to build features into the site that allowed my business to grow online. I specifically asked for a place to add video and to have a newsletter of my own. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Jayme Soulati did a fantastic job for us.”

Alan’s Collision Website Features

When considering a new website, the elements that are not visible immediately are just as important as the ones that are visible on the site. A website theme needs to have features that can be added on as the business grows. Because Alan’s Collision Center is a growing auto body repair business, it wanted to have video features and a page that could be customized for a personal newsletter from General Manager Jim Pfau.

Mobile Responsive

The WordPress website theme is also mobile responsive to comply with Google’s mobile website requirements. This means that the Alan’s Collision Center website works on all mobile devices regardless of the size of the screen. Google required businesses to comply with mobile responsive website demands in April 2015 to ensure consumer efficiency and ease of use when visiting websites from mobile devices.

As the business has grown and become more oriented to social media and Facebook engagement, the website needed to be scalable to accommodate more bells and whistles to allow for added features in the future.

New Video To Be Featured

Jim Pfau is trying his hand more often at video to showcase the expertise of the body shop technicians on repair of aluminum vehicles, for example. Ford recently recognized Alan’s Collision as the only Philadelphia auto body repair business to repair the aluminum Ford F-150. A video of that repair job is featured here on the website.

“I expect that we’ve landed on a theme and website that will enable us to expand our content offering with video, images, newsletters, and more,” said Pfau. “This site presents Alan’s Collision Center in a very good way, and we look professional and approachable to customers. That is exactly what we want.”
